Pop choir with entrance exam
VocalHouse choirs sing the best and most fun pop songs in multi-part arrangements adapted to the choir. We meet once a week centrally, in the middle of Stockholm for 12 occasions and work on sound, singing technique and feeling. Each semester ends with a big concert!
The choir rehearsals are permeated with energy and joy of singing. The choirs are for those of you who are more experienced singers and have sung in a choir before. All songs are taught by ear and with the help of sheet music. However, sheet music reading is not a requirement. The choir director will help you find out which part suits you best. There are about 40 singers in each choir, which means that you get the personal touch in each choir. Then we often have concerts together, which enables us to take on Stockholm's large concert stages together.
The choirs have entrance exams after registration. The next intake will be in the fall of 2024.
Provsjungningen går till så att vi lyssnar på ditt omfång för att kunna placera in dig i rätt stämma och kör. Vi gör lite enklare gehörsövningar och så vill vi att du sjunger vers och refräng ur valfri poplåt. Ta med noter om du vill ha pianokomp.
